I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuum and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify the cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. Its high-end price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed admirably across the house. It removed 98.4 percent of debris from all kinds of floors and was able to lift long hair without getting caught up in. The mops also performed admirably and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and an effective dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the real selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry its mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.
Contrary to the other hybrid mops that I tested, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. Additionally the mops aren't efficient in removing stubborn stains as those found in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned out as well as the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to note that the mop pads that are bought separately, will need to be replaced periodically too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a budget, I recommend a more basic model that allows you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could buy but its cost and constant maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to get rid of messes and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. As with most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map the space and moved around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum. However, it has some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it goes. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of an area before returning to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of removing debris and pet hair from carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite complex, with a broad variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate a full map and clear everything that's been that is mapped by the device or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine you've set up. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the area.
The Qrevo performed well in our tests, just like the other Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system is efficient by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat manner. The 'Normal" pathing settings cover a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well too, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.
The machine has a major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: The app offers an option that allows you to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to eliminate the last traces of debris and dust that you've left behind from your vacuuming. This is a great feature that can help this robot to clean up a bit better than its cheaper competitors.
